She carries

Por Anabel Basualdo

She holds childhood bitterness,
An empty house and a distant land.
She drags the death by oppression,
A green card and two kids.
She bears anxiety, tension, lost memories and despair.
She carries the fear of failure, a broken back ,
A haunting disease.
She carries wrinkles, old books, and lack of sleep,
Scornful skies, scattered heart,
And the ticket for a no return trip.
She carries a silence worthless diploma,
An unspoken language and shattered dreams.

That's good. Very good. What a nice tribute.
